About Our Practice

We started general dental services in Hacienda Heights (San Gabriel Valley) in September of 2006. This dental office is owned and operated by Dr. Jo-Ann De Jesus Africa and her husband Ron Africa. We felt this location had the greatest potential, based on business and residential population. Our priorities include education, smile care and maintaining good oral hygiene of our patients.
We deliver comfortable and high-quality care for all ages. Quality time (we never overbook appointments), honesty and satisfaction are our main goals. Our office offers affordable payment plans to accommodate all sectors of our community. We accept most dental insurance plans. We've added State-of-the-Art dental equipments, including Digital Technology, Cerec 3-D and Powerlase AT. Digital technology gives us precise X-rays, together with an Intra-Oral Camera, which help us communicate effectively with patients and insurance companies. This means a new level of educating , comfort and peace of mind for all patients, to perceive the doctor's diagnosis.
We offer same day restoration on all porcelain crowns, onlays & inlays for your convenience. This means single-appointment restoration from start to finish using Cerec 3D Technology. Powerlase AT is a soft and hard tissue laser that allows us to perform various procedures such as gum and bone recontouring, decay removal, etc.

 Dr. Jo-Ann De Jesus Africa provides you the best & honest dental treatment that she always offers. She believes in promoting long term dental health to satisfy patients' high expectations. She focuses on quality treatment rather than quantity. She graduated from the University of the Philippines, College of Dentistry in 1992. She is a licensed dentist in the Philippines and has successfully acquired her California Dental License in 2005. She also has a degree in Physical Therapy, but dentistry remained her love of work. She is the daughter and sister of  well-known dentists in the southern part of the Philippines (Davao City).
